These Terms & Conditions, also called the “Terms”, govern your access to and use of Sidekick.
Sidekick is operated by Impact Bakers, located at 13B avenue de la Motte-Picquet, 75007 Paris, France.
By creating an account, accessing Sidekick, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Sidekick.

Sidekick is a productivity and focus companion designed to help users start one task at a time.
Sidekick may help you:
Sidekick is designed to support task initiation and focus. It is not designed to replace professional advice or care.
Sidekick is not a medical device, therapy service, diagnosis tool, mental health treatment, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical advice.
Sidekick does not diagnose ADHD or any other condition.
If you need medical, psychological, psychiatric, or emergency support, contact a qualified professional or emergency service.
If you feel at risk of harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services immediately.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sidekick.
If you are under the age of majority in your country, you may need permission from a parent or legal guardian to use Sidekick or make purchases.
By using Sidekick, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these Terms.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account, unless caused by our failure to apply reasonable security measures.
You keep ownership of the content you enter into Sidekick.
By using Sidekick, you grant us a limited licence to process your content only as needed to:

You agree not to enter content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, infringing, or violates the rights of others.
Sidekick includes AI-powered features.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate. You should review AI outputs before relying on them.
AI suggestions are not instructions, professional advice, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or therapy.
You remain responsible for deciding what to do with any AI-generated suggestion.
We may limit AI usage to manage costs, prevent abuse, and keep the service sustainable.
Sidekick may offer a Free plan. The Free plan currently includes:
Free limits may reset based on your local timezone or another reasonable reset method.
We may change Free plan limits in the future, but we will not use plan changes to lock you out of your own existing tasks.
Sidekick may offer an Unlimited subscription. Unlimited may include:
Exact features may vary by platform, country, app version, and product configuration.
Subscription pricing, duration, taxes, trials, renewals, and cancellation rules are shown at the point of purchase.
Subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by the relevant app store.
You are responsible for cancelling a subscription through the store where you purchased it.
Deleting your Sidekick account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Sidekick may offer an Early Bird Lifetime purchase. Current Early Bird Lifetime offer:
“Lifetime” means access for as long as Sidekick is operated as a generally available product, subject to these Terms, app store rules, technical availability, and fair usage.
Early Bird Lifetime does not mean unlimited AI usage forever without restriction.
Early Bird Lifetime may include a monthly fair-usage allowance for AI assists. Recommended starting fair-usage allowance:
We may adjust fair-usage limits if reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, maintain service stability, manage unexpected costs, or keep the product sustainable.
If we adjust fair-usage limits, we will aim to do so reasonably and transparently.
Manual app usage, access to your tasks, and focus sessions should remain available even if AI fair usage is reached, unless otherwise required for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.
Early Bird Lifetime may not include separate future products, separate paid add-ons, enterprise plans, human coaching, therapy services, or third-party paid services unless we explicitly say otherwise.
Payments may be processed by Apple, Google, Stripe, RevenueCat, or another payment provider.
When purchases are made through Apple App Store or Google Play:
We do not receive full card details for app store purchases.
Refund eligibility may depend on the platform, purchase type, applicable law, and store policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
We may apply usage limits to keep Sidekick reliable and sustainable. Usage limits may include:
We may block, throttle, or limit usage that appears abusive, automated, excessive, fraudulent, or harmful to the service or other users.
We will aim to apply limits fairly and avoid interrupting active focus sessions where possible.
Sidekick is designed to avoid shame-based monetisation. We aim not to:
Premium features may be gated before use.
If you reach a Free or fair-usage limit, you may still be able to continue manually where available.
If you enable notifications, Sidekick may send reminders, including:
You can turn off notifications through your device settings.
We are not responsible for missed reminders caused by device settings, operating system restrictions, connectivity issues, or third-party services.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms or used Sidekick abusively.
Sidekick, including its name, design, software, interface, features, branding, icons, copy, and other materials, is owned by Impact Bakers or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse engineer any part of Sidekick except where allowed by law.
You may use Sidekick only as permitted by these Terms.
If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.
We appreciate feedback, but we may decide whether or not to use it.
Sidekick may depend on third-party services, such as:
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
If you download Sidekick from Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to the applicable app store terms.
Apple, Google, and other app store providers are not responsible for Sidekick, except as required by their own terms and applicable law.
In case of conflict between these Terms and mandatory app store terms, the applicable mandatory app store terms may prevail for store-related matters.
We aim to keep Sidekick available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Sidekick may be unavailable because of:
We may modify, add, or remove features over time.
We may release beta or experimental features that may change or be removed.
Sidekick uses cloud sync where available, but you should not rely on Sidekick as your only storage location for critical information.
We are not responsible for loss of data caused by factors outside our reasonable control, such as device failure, user deletion, account compromise, third-party outages, or force majeure.
You may stop using Sidekick at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your account if:
If your account is terminated, your right to use Sidekick ends.
Some provisions of these Terms will continue to apply after termination, including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, payment obligations, and dispute terms.
Sidekick is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impact Bakers is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or productivity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Sidekick is limited to the amount you paid to use Sidekick during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
If you use Sidekick for free, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
Where permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Impact Bakers harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
This section may not apply to consumers where prohibited by applicable law.
If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory legal rights under the laws of your country.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit rights that cannot be limited by contract.
If a provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory law will apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as through the app, by email, or by updating the “Last updated” date.
If you continue using Sidekick after updated Terms take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should stop using Sidekick.
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you may benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.

Where permitted by law, disputes may be brought before the competent courts of France.
